Sheriff’s Notice of Election

NOTICE.

I HEREBY give notice that a COURT will be opened on the 12th day of May inst., at 9 o’clock, A. M., in each of the following Wards in the Town of Woodstock, for the nomination of Candidates for the office of MAYOR, COUNCILLORS and ASSESSORS for the said Wards.

And I do further give notice that a Polling Booth will be opened at 10 o’clock, A. M., on the same day, at or near the Mechanics’ Institute, in Ward No 1, for the election of two Councillors and one Assessor; at or near the Office lately occupied by L. P. Fisher, in Ward No. 2, also for the election of two Councillors and one Assessor; at or near the Store now occupied by E. & B. Smith, in Ward No. 3, also for the election of two Councillors and one Assessor. A Poll at the same hour and at the same places will be also opened for the election of a MAYOR for said Town.
